Question
Our 1 1/2 year old spayed female light brindle boxer has swollen nipples, hair loss on neck and slight vaginal discharge.  Approximately 10 months ago she had hair loss on her torso but no nipple swelling. When the hair finally grew back it came back in very dark and blotchy. I took her to a dermatologist and they did blood work and skin scrape that all came back normal.  They put her on melatonin and flax oil capsules until hair grew back.  Have any ideas why she is now losing hair on neck, with swollen nipples and slight discharge?

Hi Sandra,

I'd have the vet check her for Brucellosis. It could be a number of things but Brucellosis does have those symptoms and your vet should be the best option. Thank you for your question.
