Question
what is the average weight for a 4 month old male American boxer

Answer
Genetics play a big role in weight, height, and general size.

Boxers can be three (3) general sizes: small framed and shorter than the usual, medium/average framed and weight, and larger, bigger boned framed with heavier weight.

Just as in people, they do vary according to parents and genetics.

An average weight for a 4 month old would be 30-35 pounds- but then again, he or she could weigh 25-30 pounds.

As long as his or her ribs and hip bones do not show and protrude, and is developing the normal Boxer muscular frame and all, there shouldn't be any concern,

Next vet visit-- ask your vet about weight and being "on target" for his or her age.
