Question
My male boxer Tiger who is 2 yrs old has been neutered recently.  After the operation he has become aggressive towards my male rottie of 14 mths (they were brought up together as puppies.  I have the mother rottie and her pup who are not neutered).  I have chained him inside the house where the male rottie plays with him.  Gradually I have been letting him off the lead and he plays with the rottie and all of a sudden he would attack him.  The rottie Joey is a timid fellow and is terrified of Tiger.

Please advise as it would break my heart to give Tiger away if he carries on attacking Joey.  Also I have a brother and sister of mixed breed who are neutered and they live outside in the yard and have separated Tiger from them after he attacked my cross rottie of 15 yrs old who was living outside with the other two and he died from shock and hence after this incident I had him castrated.

Thank you
Kind Regards
Seeshio

Answer
He is displaying signs of being an alpha.

Dominance is what an alpha displays when correcting another pack member. That is aggression and roughness.

Get a whistle and blow it every time he becomes aggressive. Then remove him from the area (away from the other dog) and put him by himself in a crate or on a lead away from the others.

Slowing let him back with them but supervise him.

Continue the whistle method so he can associate the sound and action with his bad behavior.
