Question
what are the chances that this will not work.  also the male was a reverse brindle and my boxer is fawn.  which is the dominate.

Answer
There are a dominate Brindle gene and a non-dominate Brindle gene. Fawn with Fawn produces 100% Fawn puppies, Brindle with Brindle produces 100% Brindle puppies, Fawn and Brindle produces 50-50% puppies, and the dominate Brindle gene increases the percentage.

Brindle versus Fawn genes; Brindle dominate is the dominate gene, the non-dominate is a 50% chance... of either...

Artificial insemination chances are the same for any species; 50%.... Why not mate the normal way?
