Question

Tyson
Hi. I have a 6 year old boxer names Tyson. He has been dx. with yeast in his ear, and we treated it according to what the vet said with ear cleanser and drops. It hasn't worked that well, but it makes it more comfortable for him it seems. I'm worried about his itchyness. He is always itchy, and recently we found 2 lumps, one on his nose, and one on his arm. They look exactly like small crusty ticks, but they are not ticks. We mistook one for a tick, and it was the growth I described, and it started bleeding. ): I feel so bad for him. I showed the vet, and they said to watch it, and it probably wasn't anything. I hate to see him itch it and cause it to bleed. I gave him a benadryl one time, and it seemed ok, but made him tired. They are not pus filled. I know it is not  comfortable for him. Is there anything else we can do?
Thank you.

Get another vet. One that knows Boxers and what their illnesses are-- one that will test it.

Well, anyone with concern of these growths would get another vet to run skin test scrapings, and other tests-- a Boxer-savvy vet- and not try to get an online diagnosis. Get real.
