Boxers/Upset stomach

Question
Hi Jannie,
I have a 10 year old female boxer (Roxy) that appears to have an upset stomach.  It currently sounds like a freight train.  She has had something similar in the past 2 to 3 mos. ago and she dealt with it on her own by eating a large quantity of grass. ( see vomited and that seemed to do the trick)
However, where I am located we now have snow with no grass available.
She has had nothing to eat today and follow me around like a little puppy.  If I sit down she will sit down and lean against me and will not move.  She obviously, does not feel well.
Is there some kind of home remedy that you might suggest that will help Roxy get her appetite back and start to feel better?
Thanks,
Gary

Answer
No remedy.

When a dog has an upset stomach and acts ill, you must not try to treat the dog without knowing what is causing the problems, or you can make it worse; risk death, etc.

She might even have a twisted stomach which results in death, or a digestive track infection, allergy, or digested a poison of some kind (poisonous to a dog)...

Get her to your vet ASAP.
