Boxers/how active should my puppy be

Question
Hi Renee, I brought home a boxer yesterday; she's 9 weeks old. I am worried because she's too skinny and very lethargic. Should I be concerned or will she become more energetic once she receives better nutrition.

Answer
Hi Taunya. I would be pretty concerned. Most Boxers, especially as puppies, will rip around the house, and then fall over asleep, only to wake up and do it again. I think that there's something else going on with her. If you haven't already, I'd take her in to the vet. She may just need wormed, or she may have something else that needs taken care of.

Education/Credentials
I took a two semester course to become a vet assistant. I didn't go further in it because I had a child.
