Hi,
I have a 1 year old boxer female.I was wondering when her next heat will be,and if I should breed her on the next heat or the next.Her last heat was at the end of June early part of July 07.Thanks Beau !

Her heat may be 6 months later, or up to a year later. It just really depends on the female. If had them go into heat every 6 months on the dot, every 8 months, and one particularly stubborn girl only once a year. I would wait untill she is atleast 2 years old. Boxers mature slower than small dogs. She's still a puppy right now. Breeding her at one year old would be like a 15 year old girl having a baby. They're just not done growing yet, physically or mentally.
