QUESTION: i have my boxers( sophia and bean) on chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul and  3 days after i started her on the food she had vomiting and bloody stools and when i took her to the vet she had no parvo and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis and the only environmental change was her food and she continues to have loose stools and i would like to know if there is an organic dog food that is reasonably priced (up to $35 per bag as close to 40 lbs as i can get). i am at my wits end and i dont know where to turn anymore and i am worried that if i start to feed her anything else that she will get worse and i want to find something that i as well as they can be comfortable with. thank you

ANSWER: Are you sure she doesn't have coccidia? I would ask to have her checked for that maybe. I will check around for you on the dog food. Give me till tomorrow. I have some friends who use organic dog food, and I'll find out for you.

QUESTION: i went to a local organic pet food store and the owner gave me samples of canidae, california naturals, innova, and evo. so far they like canidae the best. can you ask your friends what they think of these foods? thank you again renee i appreciate it!

Hi! Please forgive me in the delay on getting back to you. I've asked around, and all of my doggie buddies that feed organic food all recommend Canidea. They say that the dogs love it, and it helps with food allergies and the like. I've never used it, so I don't know for sure, but that's what they say! :-) If I can help anymore, just let me know!
