Question
My original question got me here. I'm interested in training football offense and defensive linemen how to better use there hands and feet in conjunction with balance through boxing. There is a lot of crossover. Can you help with drills or technic?
Thanks,
Kyle

Answer
Hi Kyle, Yes we do work with football players some during the off season. For linemen, the key is to have them punch while they are moving their feet and do this while moving laterally. Line up 3 cones about 2 yards apart each. On the balls of their feet, they will move laterally through the cones in a weave. Their feet never come closer than shoulder width at any point. Small quick steps only. Knees are bent and back is straight. While their moving they have their hands up infront of their face and throwing constant jabs and straight right hands. The hands can't drop. 3 minutes on and 1 minute off, just like a regular round. It will be hard for the big fellas but it gets their hands coordinated to working with their feet plus gets them in great shape.

best of luck ,
