Question
i have recently been helping a local amateur mma fighter hone his boxing skills. i was wondering what i have to do to get a recognized certification? not as a martial arts trainer but strictly boxing. i started boxing late, 30, and only have 2 bouts at the amateur level, but i have trained myself, my son, and a couple of my friends. any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
USA Boxing coach's certifications are given in local areas throughout the year.  You would need to register with USA Boxing in your area and attend a 6-8 hour clinic.  Please email me at mel@amateurboxing.com, tell me your city and state, and I will send you a contact.
