Now I have two questions my father is a business investor and wants to open up a gym to support and help the sport grow and i wanted to know what do i need to do to become certified as a boxing coach and what does my father need to do to register with USA boxing will having Mixed martial arts affect my dads gym getting regitered with USA boxing? Will my dad have to regiter his gym with a kickboxing federation? would you happen to have any info on this topic Thank you for your time!!!

Answer
You will need to register with USA Boxing in your area and attend a 6-8 hour certification clinic.  Your dad can register the club with USA Boxing, but it can't include the MMA activities.  I don't know how kickboxing works, sorry.  For a contact in your area, please email me at mel@amateurboxing.com and let me know the city and state you live in.
