Question
I wish to start a college boxing and muay thai club at my school (University of California: San Diego), but for any martial arts category I will need to registrar with a intercollegiate association. How difficult is this process? and who, what, and where, should I contact for more information?

Answer
College boxing is run under the umbrella of the National Collegiate Boxing Assn. (NCBA) and does not participate in USA Boxing amateur events.  For information on how to bring UCSD into the NCBA, you can contact Ken Cooper via email at kjcooper4@comcast.net.  Please email me at mel@amateurboxing.com and let me know what happens.
