Question
Dear Jack, I am looking to purchase an Everlast heavy bag very soon, I was wondering which size or weight or Leather bag I should purchase. I weigh 200Ibs and I'm 5ft 10', I too lift good size weights and would consider myself quiet strong. I don't want the bag swinging all over the place so I was thinking 100Ib bag?? Please Help!!

Thank You.
Dom

Answer
Hi DOM,

I would say that a 100 - 120 lb bag would be fine for you. You size and weight should do fine with that. It will swing less with a shorter chain hang, but be sure your area can support such a heavy bag, particularly if you do not take it down between workouts.

I prefer the soft fill or water core bags for they are easier on the hands, particularly for really hard punchers.

good luck, wrap your hands and use top quality gloves.

sincerely
