Question
I have a question about some fighters. Roy Jones,Ezzard Charles,Sugar Ray Robinson, Harry Greb ,Henry Armstrong,Thomas Hearns,Gene Tunney,Bob Fitzsimmons,Stanley Ketchel, Roberto Duran,Aaron Pryor, and Alexis Arguello. Many of these fighters won titles in variuous weight classes. If you were to  classify these fighters as  great fighters. What weight class would you say they did there best work or should receive the most recognition.

Answer
Hi AM,
Thanks for the question.

Roy Jones - Super Middleweight. I think his speed and power were at their peaks in this division. Too bad he didn't compete against some of the other true standouts at that weight class.

Ezzard Charles - Light Heavyweight.
Sugar Ray Robinson - Welterweight
Harry Greb- Middleweight
Henry Armstrong- He competed in multiple divisions, but his own weight never varied much...he parked himself near what would now be Junior welterweight.
Thomas Hearns - Welterweight. Crushing power at 147.
Gene Tunney - Light Heavyweight
Bob Fitzsimmons - Middleweight/ Light Heavyweight
Stanley Ketchel- Middleweight
Roberto Duran - Lightweight
Aaron Pryor - Jr. Welterweight
Alexis Arguello - Featherweight / Jr. Lightweight....great achievements at both weights.

That's my two cents' worth!
Thanks again for writing, AM.
Regards,
Lian
