Question
Hello my name is JR. I barley started up a boxing team called JR'S Boxing. IT'S unknown at this moment. I just wanted to know should I train my fighter's the same way I fight. For example I have fancy footwork and good defense skills. I started them off by doing footwork before moving on to the next level. Do you think I'm doing okay at this time

Answer
Since I  am not a trainer - it would be a better idea to swap techniques with other coaches.  However, all beginning boxers should start out learning shadow boxing and working on footwork before moving on to bag work.  A good amateur coach makes sure his/her boxers know their basics well before sparring and competition.
