Was wondering if there is a jr. golden gloves tournament in Texas. My son's boxing coach told him he was to young for the golden gloves tournament he is 9.

To get information about Jr. Golden Gloves in your specific gepgraphical area, you will have to contact your USA Boxing Local Boxing Committee (LBC). You can find contact information at www.usaboxing.org, if you follow the "membership" links.

The coach is correct. At age 9, boxers are restricted to competition only at the local level, and cannot compete in advancing tournaments such as the Jr. Golden Gloves.
