QUESTION: hi im 18 going on 19 in may havent fought a day in my life going to start attending a gym soon. just wondering how many year should i be an amature before going pro to actually have a chance of being great and also how many fight should i have before going pro. my biggest concern is that im to old to start even dough you say u can fight amature until 34 but lets be serious at 27 if your still an amature you aint going no where please and thank u. ps i were glasses 10 feet in front of me i see really blurry is that a big problem???

ANSWER: You cannot wear glasses to fight.  There is not a required amount of amateur fights and some people don't even make good amateurs.  You should use it for experience and take the advice from your trainer as to when you are ready.

QUESTION: i know i cannot fight with glasses but is it a big disadvantage even though ill be fighting 3 feet apart from the guy

Answer
Anything at all that is not perfect can be considered a weakness.  Whatever it may be anything from flat feet, to even a bald head (may cut easier) so yes eyesight may be a disadvantage.  Talk with your trainer he may help you overcome any weaknesses you might have.
