However i have been weight training for the last year and i am 5ft 7 and 11 stone do you think i need to lose some weight it is all good qaulity muscle but is this to heavy for my height. Also i dont really do much cardio these days and would like to know whether you think i should go running again before going back to my training and how long do you think it will take for me to get back into the swing of things?

Many Thanks

Answer
If you bodyfat content is low then do not lose more weight.  Get back into it slowly even if it requires you to walk first then start running.  You need cardio for sure and if you are not just too out of shape, you should be able to get back in the swing of things in about 6 weeks.

Thanks,

Joe
