Question
Hello,
My name is Juan and will appreciate your help with my question.
I would like to become (eventually) a professional boxing judge, I have been a professional boxer and didn't believe it was for me, however! I do would like to stay in the boxing world and I would like to know how can I get my armature licensing?
I believe this would help to later get and be able to judge professional fights. I live in San Diego, California and would appreciate all you help. Thanks in advance,
Juan,

Answer
Please email me at mel@amateurboxing.com and I will give you a contact to call in the San Diego area.  You will need to register with USA Boxing and attend a 6-8 hour certification clinic before training as a timekeeper/judge.  Remind me what city you're in, too, please.
