Question
I'd been ask to go back to boxing and become a pro boxer. I'm 31 years old, great physical condition, I'm 6'6", 250lbs from Puerto Rico now living in VA. What do u think would be the best fast move to do?

Answer
Carmelo,

You should start working out at a boxing gym near you because someone in that gym will have a connection. This would be your best bet since you are just turning pro. I would try to get with a promoter that holds shows on a monthly basis. This is usually at a casino that had a regular fight schedule. If you make a good showing at first, they will want you back often. Because of your age, they will look at you like a journeyman fighter at first, but if you build a good record and excite the crowd you could move beyond that.
This method is a way for you to fight often and build a quick record because of your age. You will make a few hundred bucks a fight. If you become a crowd favorite, it could become a few thousand a fight. Although the curse of building a good record is that you will get less fights as guys will start to dodge you. But you could make a little money, just don't depend on it as your bread winner.

good luck,

Jackson
