Hey I am 16 and I am in love with boxing, I haven't done it before but I just love it. I want to compete but I'm not really sure how. Like where to go to sign up because I have a boxing center that is close to me but I don't know who to talk to bout that kind of stuff. Please let me know. Thank you very much

Answer
Hi Amalia,
Thanks for the question.

To compete as an amateur boxer, you need to register with USA Boxing through your Local Boxing Committee (LBC). I don't know where you're located, but you can find your local contact person at www.usaboxing.org, by clicking on the "Membership" link. If you need more speciific details, write back and inform me of your location.

I hope this helps, Amalia.
Thanks again for writing!

Regards,
Lian
