Question
Is there an age limit for watching pro/amateur boxing matches. My 16 year old goddaughter wants to go to a 'real' boxing match, can I take her?

Answer
Hi Sam,

Thanks for the question.

There is no age limit for viewing amateur boxing matches, or professional boxing matches either, as far as I know. However, the venues in which bouts are held may have restrictions. For example, from time to time, the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles hosts professional boxing matches...no kids allowed there!

Check with the venue that's hosting the bouts you'd like to attend. It would be very rare that a 16-year-old would be prohibited from attending a boxing card.

I hope this helps, Sam!

Thanks again for writing.
Regards,
Lian
