Answer
HI Chris,

It's great that you and your friends want to meet around a boxing oriented venue, and I believe the Olympic boxing team is going to have a demo in Birmingham during May 2008. Here is a link.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The U.S. Olympic boxing team, including Tuscaloosa native Deontay Wilder, will fight an exhibition in Birmingham on May 28 against the Dominican Republic.

The 11-bout exhibition at Boutwell Auditorium includes eight boxers who have qualified for the Beijing Games in August. The other three could make the team before the exhibition.

Wilder, a heavyweight, is an unlikely Olympian who became the first U.S. boxer to qualify for the Olympics after only 20 career fights. He gave up college scholarship opportunities in other sports to help support his daughter, who has spina bifida.

Wilder was working for a Budweiser distributor when he stepped into a boxing gym on a whim two years ago.

The U.S. team also has exhibitions in Philadelphia and Chattanooga.
