Question
i am 19 i have had 3 fights 2-1.. i have been training for about 9 months i want to become pro. what do you think is a good way to go about it? and if im dedicated what do you think is a good age to go pro??

Answer
Michael,

There is no perfect age to turn pro but pre-25 would be a good idea. I would get at least 50 fights before turning pro if I could. I would also shoot for national golden gloves title. But I would definately fight for another 3 years to get more experience. During the last year you should start fishing around for a team. You will need a trainer and manager to start. Eventually you may want to sign with a promoter which will get your regular fights. Be patient, it's a long road to travel.

good luck,

Jackson
