Question
Hi Lian,
How does one go about in becoming a boxing judge in NY? (I live in NYC) I've done numerous searches online but have not come up with a direct contact. Any help is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Ray

Answer
Hi Ray,

Thanks for the question. Licensing for professional boxing judges in New York is regulated by the New York State Athletic Commission. Here's the contact info:

New York State Department of State
New York State Athletic Commission
123 William Street, 20th Floor
New York, NY 10038  E-mail: athletic@dos.state.ny.us
Telephone: (212) 417-5700
Fax: (212) 417-4987

Inquire directly as to the process for licensing, as it varies from state to state.

I hope this helps, Ray.
Thanks again for writing!

Regards
Lian
