Answer
Anthoni,

You are not too old to start and you can be as good as anybody who came up from the juniors. The skills and the conditioning is not your biggest challenge as far as catching up. It is lack of ring experience. So it is important that you spar as much as possible once your trainer feels your ready for contact. I would get 15 novice fights before going open, which means you can fight top level amateurs. If you workout regular and have some natural talent you can be as good as experienced amateurs in 3 years. I would get at least 50 open fights before going pro if you can. Also go for a national golden gloves title or try to make the plympic team next go around. These events will boost your earning potential in the pros to another level.

good luck,

Jackson
