I hope you can answer this, I would like to know how to start coaching amateur boxing and start my own boxing gym.

Thanks for the question.

You'll need to register with USA Boxing through your Local Boxing Committee (LBC) to obtain your coaching certification. For contact information in your area, go to www.usaboxing.org, and click on "Membership." From there, you can find your geographic location and a contact person, who can direct you through the registration process. The gym would also have to be registered, but the mechanics of actually starting a gym would fall outside of my own expertise.
