Boxing/training with the heavy bag

Question
I am constantly hitting my heavy bag to improve my power, as well as my form, but i feel as if it is becoming boring just practicing my jabs, straights, and hooks. Is there any way that i can make my workout more interesting and tiring?

Answer
Tyler,

Not much more can be added. The bag is mainly there to work on your power and combinations. Boxing is a lot of repetitions doing the same thing over and over. Try stepping away every other round and doing a different exercise. Also do speed one round and then power the next. Work on your distance too. Make impact at the very end of your punches. Also you can work on rolling under punches after you throw.

Just mix it up and get some tunes going. It might get old but you have to perfect these punches and your power.

good luck
