Question
I am 23 and have always wanted to box, is it to late to start and actually go somewhere with it.  I really feel like if I do it I can be something serious.  I have the motivation and determination.  How should I get started?

Answer
Kahliff,

It is not too late. You can fight amateur until your 34. Go to
http://boxing.usoc.org/content/index/43    and find the nearest committee to where you live. Contact them about if there is a gym near you. They should direct you to a golden gloves. When you get there, tell them you want to learn to box competitively and they will put you with a trainer. You join usa amateur boxing as an athlete which they can register you there at the gym. Then you just train. Once you get plenty of sparring and your trainer feels you are ready he will get you a fight.

good luck,

jackson
