what are the age limet to box in amateur boxing? I want to compete befor I go into mma.
HI Glen,
Amatuer boxing has divisions all the way to the youth division and pee wee's at 8 or 9 years old. Not all tournaments will include matches for kids that young, but some of the larger ones do. Go to a local boxing gym that trains competitive amatuer boxers in you state ( competing in legitimate sanctioned tournaments) and they will have more information on you specific state.
