Question
I box just for fun ( heavy and speed bag) but I always have had injury prone hands. I use regular wraps and 16 oz training gloves but my hands are still sore for a few days after I train. What are the best kind of wraps and gloves for protecting your hands. Since I box for fun all I care about is best protecting my hands and keeping them healthy. Thanks Alan.

Answer
Hey Nathan,

Sorry I'm a little late on this answer, but I had a family emergency that took me out of town unexpectedly with not internet capabilities.

It sounds like you are doing all the right things.  If you are wrapping your hands well and using high quality gloves I don't really know what else you can do except possible back off the power on your punching a little to let your hands rest. Look at the heavy bag and see if it's a very hard material I would try to find a softer material heavybag with a water core if possible.

Good luck and train safely.
