Question
If you have a pro boxing license can you fight any where in North America or do you need to be licensed in the state/province where the fight is taking place as well?

Answer
Hi Joe,
Thanks for the question.
Pro boxers need to be licensed in the jurisdiction in which they box. There is no "national" license or commission, though the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) has sought to standardize rules and procedures. Generally, a suspension from one state gets enforced elsewhere for the most part, but licensing is done on an individual basis.

I hope this helps, Joe!
Thanks again for writing.
Regards,
Lian
