Question Hi. My name is Michael. I have boxing for about 18 months. On and Off. I am getting certified as a CPT in January. I was wondering how I could go about getting my boxing training certification. Just to do basic training with clients. Any help on getting started would be great. Thanks.
Answer In order to work a corner in sanctioned amateur boxing shows, a coach must be a member of USA Boxing and attend a 6-8 hour certification class. This is NOT a training course for those who wish to become trainers. If you are interested in more information, please email me at mel@amateurboxing.com, restate your question, and tell me the city and state you live in. I can send you a contact for your area.
