Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I took up boxing about 4 weeks ago and I'm training for a charity fight night. I also go spinning and train in Taekwondo during the week.  On average, I train in boxing twice a week, taekwondo 2-3 and spinning once so I'm quite fit. However, I have noticed I have put on weight. I was hoping to lose a few lbs. I know that muscle weighs more than fat and I have toned up a good bit but how can I lose weight too?  I obviously need to eat differently. Thanks in advance - I appreciate the help,
Rachel

ANSWER: I recommend a high protein diet as you need this for muscle repair.   There are many out there that are quite good and in fact the Atkins diet should get those extra pounds off.

QUESTION: Thanks for your quick reply Joe. Should I bother with protein shakes or would the Atkins be enough.  If you think the Atkins should be enough could you recommend a website/book for the Atkins that would give me a good starting point.  Thank you very much again.

Answer
I would just google the Atkins diet or if you like I sell a color code diet on my website which I can send you in an attachment.  I do not mail overseas so I cannot send a hard copy.  It is a 4 page diet that kind of works similiar to Atkins.  If you are interested you can go to my website at www.boxingdoneright.com then click the online store.  To order this though I do not offer it over the internet but if you order the 12.76 pushup bars then send me an email after telling me that instead of the pushup bars you would like the diet I will then email you the attachment.
