am trying to find out any information on my grand father lamar Paul Gibson he boxed in the navy and in spartanburg s.c.i would really like to find a poster on him i know of one but we cant find it my cousin has it in storage some where thast about al i know ty larry gore
Hi Larry - It's almost impossible to find anything prior to 1987. After 1987 better records have been kept. One suggestion is to contact the newspapers in Spartanburg and see if they have anything in their archives. You might also Google the Navy's web site and see if you can find any help there. Do you know what year he boxed and his weight? What kind of poster are you looking for that has your grandfather on it?
