Question
about how many ameteur bouts will it take to become a professional boxer. wat needs to happen to become professional. like do i need to be undefeated throughout my whole ameteur career or can i lose some fights. and if you lose most of your fights do you still have a chance to become a professional boxer

Answer
There is no required amount of bouts in order to be licensed as a professional.  I believe that you must be at least 18 years old.  Personally, I would suggest that you have at least 3 or 4 years of amateur experience before turning pro.  It is almost impossible to be undefeated as an amateur and since there is no money involved, losses don't have the same impact as they do in professional boxing.
