Question
i've asked a similar question about managing fighters im sorry if i send this to someone who cant answer i forget which ones told me this type of question is out of thier field...but im trying to get into managing fighters and i know you want to sign your fighters to a contract...but ive never seen one and dont know how they are set up so i was wondering if you knew of how i could see some sort of maybe a fake contract just to get an idea of wat to put in there and how to word things how its set up etc. i want my contracts to look professional and not appear as tho i dont know wat im doing ha

You will need to have a contract lawyer draw up your papers regardless so it will be a legal binding contract. You don't really need to know much going in because the attorney will ask you everything that belongs in the contract. You need to shop around for a lawyer who is familiar with boxing or who has done boxing deals before so he will know the necessary info that belongs in a contract.
you can probably do it online starting out but if you get into hundreds of thousands or millions you need to be more hands on so all the I's are dotted and you feel more comfortable about the final deal.

I have been in the sport of boxing since 1984. I started as a boxer and advanced quickly. I was lucky enough to have some of the best sparring in the country with 3 top ten pros in my very gym. I am fortunate enough to live near one of the better boxing programs in the country. We have cultivated our facility into the largest Amateur Boxing Gym in the country. In the mid 90's I became a trainer for Golden Gloves. I train amateur and pro fighters. I have worked in many corners at USA and Golden Glove tournaments. I have worked corners in pro bouts on HBO and ESPN cards. My friend, boss and coach is the former President of Golden Gloves and I trained under his tutelage.
