i have been training with boxers for 2 years know and have actually gotten pretty good at the sport.is 30 too old to compete in an ameteur match?

Thanks for the question.
Under USA Boxing rules, you can compete in the regular amateur program through age 34. After that, competition would be restricted to the Masters division; feel free to contact me again if you have questions about that.
