Question
Hello, first of all, thank you for providing this site to answer questions.  I am interested in becoming a boxing judge (just a judge - not a referee), and was curious to know if Minnesota requires a judge to start with amateur bouts prior to becoming a professional judge, and if so, where can I look to find the proper information about this.  Thank You.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the question.

I can answer questions regarding rules for both pro and amateur boxing; upcoming bouts; fight analysis/predictions; various other questions. I am an experienced amateur boxing official with USA Boxing (14 years) and I have completed a yearlong professional officials` clinic with the California State Athletic Commission.
