Question
I've been boxing for over seven years now, and have not had no amateur fights on file. But I have a over a hundred fights in the ring, also I training everyday. I'm in the gym six days a week. I just don't no how to get in touch with people like yourself. I believe I'm in the wrong city. (Savannah Ga,) Help me tell me who can I contact. Can you e-mail names and numbers? Thanks, I promise I want be a waste of time.

Every gym is different so I couldn't be specific about what they do in your area. I recommend contacting one of these gyms in your area. Asked them if they are affiliated with golden gloves. If so, ask about any charges and what you need to do to register as an amateur. You'll be assigned a trainer and could get your first match as soon as your coach sees your ready.

I am fortunate enough to live near one of the better boxing programs in the country. We have cultivated our facility into the largest Amateur Boxing Gym in the country. In the mid 90's I became a trainer for Golden Gloves. I train amateur and pro fighters. I have worked in many corners at USA and Golden Glove tournaments. I have worked corners in pro bouts on HBO and ESPN cards. My friend, boss and coach is the former President of Golden Gloves and I trained under his tutelage.
