Question
Do you have to do amateur boxing before you go pro?

Answer
Hi Deangelo,
Thanks for the question.
There is no requirement to box as an amateur before embarking on a pro career.
I'd strongly recommend that anyone who is serious about becoming a profession first hone his craft as an amateur, though.
I hope this helps!
Thanks again for writing.
Regards,
Lian
