Question
Hi, i'm 23yrs old, and i've been interested in boxing since the age of 13 or so, but got into basketball and never pursued boxing, because there weren't any gyms where I live..... i'm about 6'4inches tall,& 177lbs, lean but have an athletic build.... just wanted to know your opinion on, if 23 is to old to start boxing?

Answer
Hello there Rod ! 23 years old is not to old to start boxing. You sound very athletic and understand fundamentals, so you will learn quickly. go to boxinggyms.com and find a local gym. Just pop in during gym hours and check out their training standards. Do not let them know you are coming. Feel free to call me with any questions.
