Question
Hi,
I will turn 35 in August 2009, and am wondering if I am still eligible to compete in the Chicago Golden Gloves in 2010? I would compete at the amateur level - not in the open division.
Thanks for answering my query!

Answer
The "amateur level" includes all athletes from age 8 to 34.  Since you are turning 35 in August, you would not be eligible for the 2010 Golden Gloves unless they allow Masters Division boxers (age 35 and up) to compete and if there are any opponents in your age and weight.
