i really need help im starting boxing in about 2 days and im investing to buy a punching bag and 14oz gloves for traing on it what else do i need? and which ones a re better the portable ones that have a base or the ones you hang? if i buy the ones that you hang i dont know where to hang it like drill something in the roof i would like more information thank you
Answer Simran,
I would get the one you put on the floor. It has 2 sandbags that slip over the middle pole and hold it down. They make a little makeshift dolley that slips under the base if you want to move it.
They are made by ringside.

Yes, I would use 14 oz. velcro gloves for hitting the bag (leather)
You need a pair of hand wraps to protect your hands. They are about 10 bucks on ringside or a sporting goods store.
