I live in Austin, Texas and I am very interested in becoming a professional boxing judge.
Do I have to start with amateur boxing?
If so, how long does it usually take to become a professional boxing judge?
How do I start?

You need to contact the entity in charge of amateur boxing in your area and ask them for tbeir requirements. If they want you to have amateur experience, they might be able to refer you to the local amateur boxing committee.
