QUESTION: Hello sir my name is Antonio Pedroza.I am a streetboxer I am looking to have a career in it.I have never be knockout in life and I always box people biger than me.I live in arizona I don't know what or where to go can you help me please.P.S I am very poor.I am trying to enter tournaments.
ANSWER: Antonio,
I suggest going to goldengloves.com and sending them an email. Ask them where the nearest golden gloves gym is near you. This is where you need to train. You'll get a good coach and normally there is no charge as long as you intend to compete as an amateur boxer.

Here is a list of gyms in Arizona. I am not familiar with them personally since I live in the east but you can contact them and ask which ones have fees. You want a gym that is affiliated with golden gloves.

I have worked corners in pro bouts on HBO and ESPN cards. My friend, boss and coach is the former President of Golden Gloves and I trained under his tutelage.
