Question
Hi, Ive just started boxing, and both my left and right ring finger knuckle on the sole part hurts alot, I am still able to do regular duties like grip things and etc, but when a lot of pressure is applied directly to the under ring finger knuckle its hurts alot, is there something wrong or is that normal, Ive been in boxing for about 2 weeks now

Answer
Benson, the reason your ring finger knuckle is hurting is because you are not lining your chin on the target. Your punches will go where your chin is lined up, always !  You should be punching with your two big knuckles. Work on your technique first and then put some speed on it.  You can watch some videos on my youtube.com/absoluteboxing. Keep punching, Tony Spain 941.302.4181.
