Question
Me And my wee brother are starting boxing but we are confused on wat size are needed for our age group?
im 14 and my brother is 8

Answer
Hi Aidan,
Thanks for the question.
Are you referring to competition or sparring? For competition, glove size is determined by the weight of the boxers, but it's probably safe to say that you're both in the weight range that would mandate 10 oz. gloves. Once you get to be over about 150 pounds, you'd need to use 12 oz. gloves for competition.
And you're both in very different age groups!

I hope this helps, Aidan.
Thanks again for writing!

Regards,
Lian
