Question Hello im 14 years old rocky.i just wanna ask you that can i participate in more than 1 category (weigh) or not.im 5'11 tall and 68 kg.and can i participate in super heavyweight category,according to indian rules the guy must be atleast 17 to compete in international competition.i ll be 17 in 2012.i have the ability to compete in more than 1 weigh.i ve heard that a boxer i forgot his name competed in 3 different weigh.is it true.Thank you
Answer H Rocky - Yes, you must be 17 to compete internationally. In order to participate in the 2012 Olympics, you will have to qualify for your country's team and also qualify via a continental tournament. You can't compete in more than one weight class at a time. If you are 68kg now, you'd have to weigh 91+ kg in 2010 to compete in the super heavyweight division.
